Go to, start menu, programs, accessories, entertainment, volume control.
Once the volume control opens, press your alt key and press enter on
options.
Press enter on properties.
If you have more than one sound card installed, be sure and select it in the
list.
Tab one time to adjust, and arrow down to recording.
Tab one more time and arrow down to microphone and make sure it is checked.
If not, press your spacebar to check it and then press enter.
This will bring up your volume control for line in and microphone. Tab to
microphone and set your volume by using your up or down arrow, or your page
up or down to move in larger increments. Or your home to go to 100%.
After it is set, just do an alt f4 to exit.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Microphone

Hey Gang,
I'm going on the FTP tonight, but I'm having a problem with my microphone
setting.
Where is it at in the control panel and how do I make sure it is at 100%.
I tried to look for it, but can't find it.
Please help
Patti
