Yup, I've done that, too. It used to play them automatically, so I cannot figure out what's changed.

That shouldn't make any difference for the CD, but you could press space on
select all.
Also, in the general options, check use Winamp Agent.

Denny,
I have that checked already. And I have spaced on the all file types
button. When I'm on the list box of file types, it says none selected
though. Should it be saying all selected?

Thanks,
Lois

Lois,
You will need to go to the preferences in Winamp, control p, and to file
types and then tab to, check, launch Winamp for audio cd's, then tab to
close.

Hi Rick,

I have been trying to get my audio cds to play in winamp, too. I have the
box checked in preferences, but when I got to properties, winamp isn't a
choice. I see two other media players and open to view in windows explorer.

Do you have any idea why winamp isn't there and how I can get it back. It
does automaticaly play anything that's on my computer, just not cds.

Thanks,
Lois

Hi Tammy,
Try this:
1. From Windows Explorer, highlight your cd drive.
2. Next, press alt + enter for the properties.
3. Go to the auto-play tab, and using the tab key, and the arrow keys,
set the drive to respond to your liking for each type of cd inserted into
the drive.
4. After making each selection, tab to the apply button, and spacebar that.
5. When you are done, activate the okay button.
You are done.
HTH,
Rick

When I put a cd into my disk drive, nothing happens. I can use windows
explorer and locate the cd, enter on it and then it will play. How can I
get it back to where I put in a cd and it automatically opens Winamp and
starts playing?
Thanks in advance!
Smile! GOD loves you!
