Hi Jason and Donny, If you would like to receive messages on both your Outlook Express and Outlook, there is a function or checkbox that allows you to leave a copy of the messages you download on the server, that way, when ever you retrieve your messages in one application, you can still get them on the other application.
The benefit of this is that both applications see the messages as new e-mails when they come in, so you don't have to worry about it. One thing you have to make sure of is that you go into your web mail once in a while to clean out your inbox. Eventually these messages do pile up and you find yourself with no more room in your inbox because you've over stuffed your quota. In any case, in Outlook Express you go to the accounts dialog box and highlight the account you want to leave this option on for. Tab over to properties, then control tab over to the advanced tab. Once there, tab down past the port numbers and stuff like that, and check the box that says leave a copy of messages on the server. tab once more and uncheck the box that says delete after such and such...*sorry, I can't remember what exactly it says. In any case, once this is done, tab to ok and you're done. This will leave a copy of the messages on the server if you want to download them to another computer or application. As for doing this in Outlook, I'm told the process is just a bit more complicated, however it is doable, and I believe that it's in the options dialog box. Sorry, but I'm not an Outlook user. Let me know if you have any questions in addition to this, and, please, please, please remember to visit your web mail once in a while to do some housekeeping duties, otherwise you'll find yourself bouncing like crazy some time in the future.
