My old sign in pass word is in my pc.
I want to get rid of it and all will be fine I think.

I'm not sure I understand. I hope someone else has some input here, as I
would like you to be able to fix the problem. Now, when I open WLM, I
don't have to click to sign in as I used to have to with the older version
of Windows Messenger. It brings up a box where I can either type in my
username, or where it will store my username if I check the box that tells
it to do that after installing the program. I can then tab to the password
field & type that in & tell it to log me in.

Okay my computer thinks I have signed into messenger on another computer.
It is because my pass word to messenger is stored into it thinks this.

As far as I know, the old version is supposed to disappear, because
Windows Live Messenger is the newest & it combines features of both MSN
Messenger & Windows Messenger all into one.
