I hadn't tried it in MS Word yet.
I guess it sounded a bit complicated just reading the directions compared to
the temporary book mark in I.E.
The step by step instructions are extremely helpful and I copy them in to my
JAWS helpful hints folder for future reference. (which is constantly
growing)

This really saves time and effort in I.E.
I assume the place marker will stay in place indefinitely.

I might add that when you do the control shift K to add a place marker in
IE, you will have to tab one time to, add, and press enter. Then you can
type in the name of the place marker or use the default title. And then
press enter.

I have JAWS 6.0 and XP.
My goal is to read a few pages of a document each day.
One book is in I.E. and the other book is a document I down loaded to My
Documents , in "Word".
Each reading is over 125 pages.
My question is how can I mark where I leave off each day so that I can go
to
that location the next time I open it?
