Probably the best thing you could do is to have someone look at the buttons
and tell you what they are.  Then you can label them by doing a control
insert tab.
But then you most likely won't know what to do after you activate the
buttons, but you could try.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Acer notebook utilities with JAWS?


I recently bought an Acer notebook at Future Shop.  It was a bit of an
emergency because my old notebook had broken, and I need one, so there was
no time to shop around.

The Acer came with a bunch of pre-installed utilities that I'd like to use,
but they're not accessible at all.  For example there's some program called
"Acer Empowering Technology," which does all the power management settings
for the computer.  But JAWS 7.0 won't tell me what any of the buttons are
called.

Does anyone know of scripts, or something, that I could use?  Any other
suggestions?
