No, that only _stops_ JAWS during extended speech. What he wants is to actually keep JAWS from ever speaking. It's possible to assign a keystroke to this (it's a toggle), but that has to be done through Keyboard Manager in the Default file. As David also pointed out, it's possible to keep JAWS from ever being used with any specific application by means of the Configuration Manager.
