So far as under the hood my memory is failing me at the moment. I can tell you that the updates are quite reliable like clock work, tech support is available for the pro version. You do have access to more of a seamless interface, in other words set it and forget it. Also in my opinion it's a more robust product and as you might imagine I get in to some places many of you out there don't.
