It sounds like you have a bad address in that particular distribution list.
Go through it and make sure that all of the addresses are correctly written
unless you've already done that. So tell us what you have done yourself to
resolve this problem before we go any further. Remember the idea is to try
and fix it yourself first then ask the list for help if you get stuck.

I am having a problem with one of my distribution lists this morning. It
actually started last
night. In Outlook I have about 8 different distribution lists. One of them
is called "Friends."
When I try to send an email to the "Friends" distribution list, it gets hung
up in my out box with a
mail delivery error that says,
Not selected. A time out occurred while communicating with the server.
I can send everything else just fine. It only happens with this one
distribution list. Can someone
please tell me what this message means?
