I find the access bridge 2 works fairly well with my Java clients. I do have an annoying problem where JAVA dialog boxes are don't take focus when switching applications. So if I switch from my JAVA application to my e-mail and back again the dialog box I am filling in does not have focus. I then can usually get focus with a JAWS-F10 but sometimes I have to hunt and peck with the JAWS-cursor which does not work very well with JAVA.
The java application I use the most is the "NetCool Configuration Tool" which uses JAVA SWING and makes extensive use of tables. JAWS (5 & 7) do not treat these quite as I would expect and I usually have to do a "JAVA cursor to Virtual Cursor" command to click on items within the list. Also, how are Java and the Access Bridge for working with the current versions? Jaws help mentions version 2.1.4.1 for Java, and I see they are up to 5 now. Any danger of getting a version that is beyond Jaws' support?
