I beleive that Ken Stewart, Michael Byminington and others on the Environmental Committee have been working diligently along with others on the "quiet car" issue. But unfortunately much of that work and where we are going on the issue doesn't seem to filter down to the membership.
This and other unfortunate lapses in communications leads to a wide variety of problems including an inability to mobilize membership around an important issue. These folks and many others do fine work but again if not effectively communicated to the membership there can be an will be problems to say the least.
