The only way I know how to find out is simply try it and see what happens.
My guess would be yes.

Does, or can, the jaws dictionary be made to distinguish between uper and
lower case characters? (One could have capital m capital s replaced by
Microsoft; ordinary ms replaced by millisecond; capital m lower s for Mis?
Of course, a rule couldn't really cover everything.)

Yes but consider the fact that each voice engine contains it's own
separate
dictionary file. That means that what works for one might now work for
  another.

I thought of that as well, but it only says millisecond when I am using
the
SAPI 5 voices, not when I am using eloquence.

  Hi Steve & Shannon,
In what context do you encounter this?
Does ms stand for Microsoft, or miz, or what?
Depending on where and how you encounter this, you can just create a
  dictionary entry for it.

  Hi All,

I am currently using Windows XP Pro and JAWS 8.0 with the real speak
voices.
When I press the command to say all and the real speak voice encounters
"Ms"
it pronounces it as millisecond. Does any one have any suggestions on how
to fix this? Thanks for your help.
