Hi John,
By comparison, I have found that 6.2 is definitely more stable than 7.1,
of course that is on my systems.
I would say give 7.1 a try, and if you find that it doesn't play nice on
your system, then go back to 6.2.
I have versions 4.51 thru 8.0 installed on this particular machine, and I
find that sometimes it's just as easy to switch
from one to another for certain tasks then to try and constantly make
configuration changes.
If you are already authorized for 7.1, then you have nothing to lose but a
little of your time.
HTH,
Richard Justice

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Should I upgrade Jaws?

Hi All:

I am currently running Jaws 6.2, which is a very stable version of Jaws. I
am licensed to be able to upgrade to Jaws 7.1. My question is: Based on
others experiences with 7.1, is it worth it? The only real feature that I
would like is to be able to use Firefox with Jaws. But, if 7.1 isn't as
stable as 6.2, then I don't need the headaches.

I will greatly appreciate any feedback.
John
