Note: this does not disable your virus scanner in any way. The only thing it does is turn off the notice that your emails have been scanned by AVG anti virus. 1. Open AVG, tab once to the control center button and tap space bar. 2. Use alt plus V to open the view menu and down arrow to the components submenu icon and then tap enter. 3. Down arrow to the email scanner icon and then tap enter. 4. Tab to the configure button and then tap enter. 5. Tab to and uncheck the two Certify mail checkboxes. 6. Now tab to the OK button and enter and then tab to the OK button again and enter. This should have eliminated the problem and you now can close AVG Free with alt plus F4. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Leavens" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2007 4:17 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] That fantom attachment thing revisited Seems I tried what was suggested to get rid of the phantom attachments, to no avail. (Must have done something wrong.) Can someone please re-iterate the instructions? Am using jfw 8.1 on a win xp sp2 system.
