Is it that you can see the links but clicking on them doesn't take you
anywhere?

If so, it might be, just as you say, a pop-up being blocked. in that case
you should be able to switch to Jaws-to-PC then arrow up until just under
the menu bar where you should hear that a pop-up has been blocked and click
here to allow pop-ups. Left click on that and it should work. There might be
a dialog where you can approve all pop-ups from this site or something to
that effect.

I think this happens when you have one of the security settings set, the one
which has something to do with allowing content to cross domains or
something to that effect, I don't remember all the implications but I have a
bunch of that security stuff enabled and what a pain but also quite an
education. Sometimes I find myself blocking cookies for example from six or
more sites and multiple ones and different sites not related to the one I
have selected. Following one link might dump as many as twenty cookies onto
your computer from half a dozen sites all digging to discover where your
computer goes and from what site it went. Otherwise you would never know all
that activity is going on and of course if cookies are being dumped what
activex functions might be landed and/or activated. To me it is outlandish,
who could believe we, the mighty consumer would have wanted all that? Well
of course we didn't, just that the default settings on our computers hide it
all from us. We need the bandwidth of broadband because of all the
unnecessary traffic a dial-up can't reasonably support if we are to make any
use of our machine beyond the walls of our homes.

But I digress!

Another thing to do is to see what sort of source HTML code is there. When
Internet Exploder comes up with the file loaded try going to the View menu
(ALT-V then down to Source. You may be asked what programme to display the
source in, I suggest Notepad. You should be able to see the HTML code there,
it may or may not mean much to you but you should see it as lines of text
instructions.

If not there is something else wrong with the original file.

Hope this helps.
