Lime wire does work but there's a few things you need to do. First make sure you have the latest version of Java installed. I got version 6 from sun java. Once this is installed, then get the latest java access bridge, I have version 2, and install it.
Now that this is done, download and install lime wire. You will find that it's a little sluggish, but it will work and I find it's not as sluggish with Java 6 as it was with java 5 for some reason.
