It's not a BIOS password. If it were a password at such a low level then JAWS wouldn't be able to speak at that point, because at least some part of windows needs to load before JAWS can do anything at all. The BIOS runs during the boot up process around the same time as the POST which stands for power on self test function happens. I know more than you needed to know on a Monday evening. Hi David, when I start up my computer jaws will say owner password edit. Once I type my password in windows will then start up. I don't know if that is a bios password, or not. What is a Bios password, and how do I know if I have one? Just curious.
