A repair of JAWS6 can be done by: Start menu, Programs; JAWS6; alt+t for Tools, then arrow to or hit i for Installation and maintenance. In the ensuing dialogue, down-arrow to choose the Repair radiobutton, and proceed. I don't think repairing JAWS will fix the slowness issue, since it would seem to be more computer-general related; but the above is how you repair earlier versions of JAWS up until recent versions.

May be someone else on this list will write if they know how to go in to the JAWS folders to initiate a repair. The only way I know how to do this, is to put your 6.0 disk back in and start an installation. 1 or 2 steps in to it, you will have a chance to click on Repair. Go ahead and click on Repair and see if that helps. Beyond this, I think you'll need to contact Freedom Scientific for help. I hope it works out for you!
