If you are happy with 8.0 and have no plans on going back, then no you don't need 5.10 any longer. There is an uninstall icon in the 5.10 sub menu to remove it should you decide to do that. I have no idea how many programs you might have installed that are no longer of any good to you at this time. Cleaning up your hard drive every so often can be a good thing. If I clean some out will that make my computer run faster?
