You need to get someone with local admin rites to login, you can then tick the 'Start Jaws automatically box' under Basics, I think in the new version of Jaws, you use the start-up wizard' option. It may be worth asking if they will give you local admin permissions to your machine as you will need it if you wish to use the Check for updates option in Jaws. Hope this helps,.
