Hi:

I would set my default browser to firefox if you use it on a regular 
basis, as I do.  As to why it's exhibiting this strange behavior, I 
don't know, but perhaps it has something to do with a firewall, as 
previously suggested.  Sometimes Firefox will just shut down for no 
apparent reason when I click on certain things, and if that's the case, 
and IE is your default, maybe that could cause something like this to 
happen.
