I at one time installed an USB external sound card solely for the purpose of having JAWS speak through it. We did need to change some lines in a JAWS INI file. I don't remember what those lines were. If you think this is what you need, let me know and I will look for those directions. I believe that the info I have was gathered from this list and from the Snowman.

Last night I replaced the fix to make eloquence run through the external but all of the other jaws sounds including the real speak voices are still using the internal.
