Hi, When you rip a CD to your PC with Windows Media Player, a folder is created within the My Music folder located in the My Documents folder that has the name of the CD that you ripped and inside that folder, you will find the songs that were ripped from the CD. The format the songs will be in by default when you use Media Player to rip a CD is WMA. Hope this helps, Jeffrey
