There is a way to solve this issue where Firefox won't load pages properly. Try the IETab extension, which allows you to tell Firefox when to use the IE engine. It doesn't load IE itself; it loads the engine that IE uses. Get it at http://ietab.mozdev.com. Hope that helps.
