Do you need to run EndITAll? If you have windows XP, I don't think you do.
Ctrl+Alt+Delete, then close other running applications. I did experience
problems sometimes with EndItAll and JAWS earlier versions, on a windows
Millennium machine.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] interesting problem

I have an interesting problem as a result of trying to correct another. I
have been having a problem with jaws losing focus while reading web pages.
Yesterday I implemented all of the recommended settings sent to me from FS
support.
Today I wanted to install and run a new program from pc pit stop.
I first ran end it all before my install. I then restarted and again ran end
it all before running this new software. To my surprise when I now went to
the start menu jaws was unable to read it. My wife, sighted, had no problem
accessing the programs in the start menu list but jaws could not.
I took a guess that it was the new software so after another restart I
uninstalled it and then ran reg cleaner to make sure. Restarted and after
running end it all again I could not read the start menu.
I then ran system restore and took the system back two days prior to when
the FS suggestions were made.
Again ran end it all and I had no problem reading the start menu.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?
