You will need to make sure that there is nothing selected and then press your application key. Press enter on, view and then arrow up to list and press enter. Next you will need to keep that setting by going to your tools menu, alt t, arrow up to folder options and press enter. Control tab one time to, view and press your spacebar on, apply to all folders. You will receive a message asking if you want to set all views to match the current folder or something like that, so just press enter on yes.
Now tab to OK and press enter.
