Hi:

Mine says x western or x unicode at the beginning of each paragraph 
also.  Outlook didn't on this same computer.  I think it might be 
resolved by changing a setting in JAWS, but I don't know.  I would love 
to get it to stop doing that.  I think it refers to the type of window 
class used by the message author.  I think most of us use western 
windows, hence x western.
