Hi Daved Here is the code where the problem begins. What I find interesting
is that when I view it as a web page jaws notifies me that there are 5 links
which is correct. However when reading the page after the 4th link is when
the problem starts. here is the code from that area:
<p>

 At the close of the program, my daughter's boss announced that for a thank
you,  <A HREF="http://www.yourgoodwill.org/";>Goodwill Industries Keystone
Area

would be making a donation to Freedom Guide Dogs in my name. When it was
over,
a few Other individuals also told me that they plan to make a donation.
</p>
<p>

Micah was the perfect gentleman, well almost. He did get one slight
correction for "licking
the floor". Of course he had to goof off during the middle of my
presentation again bringing
a little laughter.
 Hmmm! here we go again being, upstaiged by a guide dog.
</p>
<p>

At the time of this writing, Micah and I are on course to become a
fantastic working team.
 Although it takes many months until we really work together, I feel it is
coming
along very well. I must learn what he is trying to tell me and he must
learn what I expect of him.
 As far as him being a social butterfly, he truly is, however he
understands the difference between working and play modes. I can now remove
his harness
so people can pet him. My biggest problem is that when it is removed he
becomes very excited
 and wants to jump on people. We definitely need a lot more work with that
behavioral issue.
On the sad note: Fred, Micah's puppy raiser just
returned the puppy that he was raising. Fred
now at age (90) ninety has cancer and
is unable to deal with the puppy.
</p>
<p>
I truly wish Fred the best, I am grateful to him and all of the puppy
raisers.
 I can speak for everyone who has ever had a guide dog in thanking these
wonderful people that raise and have to give up the dogs when they are about
one and a half
years old.
</P>

It would probably help if I could see the code myself because I have no
idea.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws reading html

Hi All,
First I am using xp home with jaws 8.
I am in the process of developing a new story for my web page.
To create my html I use notepad. The process is that I have a filename such
as filename.html.txt
After I make my changes I change the filename to filename.html and open it
Now I can read it as it will be displayed in my webpage.
I have a total of 5 links imbedded in the file.
When I read the viewed I am getting links reported that do not exist. When I
read past the 4th link every line after reports one word as a link.
an example is the word people on the next line is spoken as link people
I have clicked on these reported links and they take me to the 4th link.
There is nothing different in my html code to cause this to happen.
Any ideas why jaws is telling me that these words are links?
