Well it really did not take all that long, just enough time to close 
JAWS,terminate all related 
processes, and create a memory dump file then restart it.
Note this keystroke is for emergency recovery when you loose speech and can not 
get jaws talking 
again.  There's no reason to use it if your jaws is talking, that's not the 
purpose of this.  If you 
just want to unload jaws for some reason use the regular insert + F4 to unload 
jaws.

Ok if that's  true how long does it take before jaws comes back?
When I did it my jaws just turned off.
Maybe I didn't wait enough time.
