Just for future reference, rather than delete those scripts and configuration files, just select and copy them to another folder and then delete them from the Jaws folder. This way, you have them backed up. Hi Rick, Well I now know what happened to them. With the last update I and several others had a problem with the outlook express scripts. Working with FS it was suggested that I delete the scripts that were placed in the enu file. When these were removed outlook express worked correctly. I then built my very few dictionary entries. I have a few friends that jaws can not say their names properly including mine. Anyway when I did the recent update a new set of scripts were installed into the enu folder. This explains what happened to them I already recreated the new dictionary entries. incidentally the correct pronunciation of my last name is Mick hue This entry has been made in the default dictionary.
