Since I use the num pad for jaws, I still use the regular number row. I wonder if it's because of typing so many years before computer keyboards and being used to using that number row. The number pad for numbers really slows me down because it's backwards from a touch tone phone! Yeah, I know it's the way calculators are, but I don't use calculators, so it's too weird for me. my former computer teacher tried to get me to learn it, and I could have if I wanted, but once I learned I could do everything with the regular numbers and punctuation keys, I didn't bother. It was too important to have that num pad always available for my jaws navigation.
