How this is handled, depends on what type of script file you have downloaded. If it is a .exe file, then it should be self-installing, and the scripts will be automatically re-compiled. If it is a .zip file with multiple files in it such as .jsd, .jss,etc. here's what to do. To help avoid any unexpected problems, 1. select the .zip file, and then go to the file menu, and select, extract all, and hit enter. 2. The wizard will open to step you thru the unzip process. Just use the next and finishn buttons when instructed.. 3. By default, the wizard will extract the files into a folder where the .zip file is located, so there is no need to select another location. 4. When this process is complete, select all of the files in the resulting folder, and copy them to the clipboard. 5. As referenced in the tutorials, open the settings folder for the version of Jaws you are useing, and paste the files there. 6. Now, with that done, open the application for which the scripts were written for, and bring up the script manager. Different people have different ways of doing this but I will give you my way. Press insert +F2 to open the list of Jaws managers, and hit the letter S, for script manager. 7. When the script manager opens, it will read the script file with the application name. Press control + S, to compile the scripts. You should hear Jaws say compile complete, if it does, then press alt + F4 to close the manager, you are done. If you get an error message, then contact us, so we can help with the problem. I tried to make this short and sweet without leaveing the less experienced users out, but if someone still needs help, don't be bashful, let me know, and we'll see what we can do to get the job done.
