Patricia, Just compiling Ad-aware.jss will not do the job. If you look at the scripts in Jaws 7.0, there are 12 files for Ad-aware.
Go to the JawsUser home page and enter into scripts and you will find in the first entry the Ad-aware scripts. Hit enter on it and you can download the scripts directly. You must install it in Jaws 8. I don't think that you have to compile the script when you are done, but if you do, open Ad-aware, hit insert+0 in the number row to open the script manager and hit Ctrl+S to compile and save. Then do Alt+F4 to leave the script manager and you should be good to go.
