set up a hotkey for the program use these instructions. If you don't have a shortcut for JAWS on your desktop then:
1. Find the program on your start menu, all programs submenu. 2. Press the applications key (the key next to the control key on the right side of the keyboard). 3. Arrow down to send to and hit enter. 4. Arrow down to desktop and hit enter. 5. Minimize all apps with windows key+M and find the icon it created on your desktop. 6. While focused on the JAWS Icon on your desktop, Do an alt enter for the properties, and you should be on the shortcut tab. 7. Tab to the shortcut key field and assign a keystroke. 8. Tab to okay and hit enter. To assign a hotkey to a program directly on the start menu, all programs menu. 1. Go to your start menu, all programs and find the program you want a hot key for. 2. Hit the application key. and arrow up to properties, then hit enter. You should be on the shortcut tab, tab to shortcut key. Type the letter you have chosen. It will create it as alt control and the letter you choose unless you specify otherwise. 3. Tab to okay and hit enter. You now have a hotkey to start a program.
