Hi Don,
CDEX 140 is a self extracting file, if you look at the file extension, it
should be.exe.
If the one you have is a .zip, and you downloaded it from the llist website,
you got the wrong file.
If you are running Windows XP, then you have a utility for unzipping .zip
files anyway.
Now for CDEX 151, it sounds like you are getting a security dialogue from
Windows, since the file isn't signed by Microsoft.
I can't tell you anymore about that particular message, unless I can look at
the entire text of the message.
If you want, do this:
1. Try to re-install CDEX151 again
2. If you get the same message, then virtualize the window with the
keystroke, control + insert + W.
3. Use control + A to select all text in the window, and copy it to the
clipboard.
4. Hit the escape key to close the virtual window, and then paste the
contents of the clipboard into a Notepad file, and attach it to an e-mail
message directly to me, not the list.
Once I have the message, we can go from there.
HTH,

I tried cdexe 140, it will not open unless I have winzip. cdexe 150starts
to open, then windows says: program is from an unknown source andd gives
some options, none of which are useful. Dion-- Original Message -----

Hi Don,
Hmmm, that's interesting,I'm running it on 3 machines with no problems.
Can you give me more info on the error message?

I appreciate all your efforts in setting up and maintaining this valuable
page. I downloaded the cdexe 151 program and it will not configure, Windows
says the driver is incorrect. I have also downloaded the same program from
various pages with the same disappointing results. Others have similar
problems with cdexe151. Thank you for any consideration given these
comments. Don Lorah

I've just added documentation for the CDEX version 1.51 program, along with
several new items on the scripts page in the hope that they will benefit
somebody out there.
