Hi, There is a way to make Thunderbird put the reply of a message with the original message below the reply (like how Outlook or Outlook Express) does. 1. go to the tools menu while in Thunderbird. 2. arrow to account settings and press enter. 3. arrow to Composition and addressing and press tab until you hear "Automatically Quote the original message when replying checkbox." 4. If this checkbox is not checked, press the spacebar to check it. 5. Then press tab once to move to the "Then," combo box. 6. press up or down arrow in this combo box and select the item in this combo box that says "Start my reply above the quote." 7. Press tab until you get to the OK button, and press the spacebar on it. You will return where you were before you opened this dialog. Hope this helps, Jeffrey

My main complaint is that I have to remember to physically make it top post as I can't find a setting in compose, or anywhere else for that matter, to set it to top post by default. If anybody knows how to do this, the info would be greatly appreciated. I'm kind of a lame brain when it comes to computers. Thanks in advance. If it is another setting, it shouldn't have to be reset every time you use it.
