Hi Patricia, For more information on the Window system parameters options, you would have to search the Windows help. In that particular dialogue, I have the first 4 checked, and the last 2 unchecked. Changeing thiese options may, or may not help Jaws performance. These settings are only in affect when Jaws is running. In the advanced options dialogue,I have both of those items unchecked, since I don't use them. If you press insert + F1 while in that dialogue, it will tell you what they are for. I have a question concerning what should be checked in the area of, window's perimeters... and Advance options... in Jaws 8 or other versions for starting jaws up automatically.
