Hi:
How, you would go to basic options, then to "Windows System Parameters " and 
uncheck them.
Why: jaws works better with these options off since some can interfere with 
jaws. <smile>

  I think he is talking about the  Windows System Parameters in basic options 
which is part of windows but jaws can turn them off for you and back on when 
you unload jaws if a sighted person also uses your computer, but these are 
actually windows functions.
  The below are part of windows and if you hit insert plus F1 it will tell you 
to refer to windows help for a description of the below.

  .Disable Personalized Menus
  .Disable Hide Keyboard Navigation Indicators Until I Use The ALT Key
