Hi Terrill,
I have found that seems to be the way to go.

Right,
I forgot about that fix; thanks.
However I always install a fresh copy of a new version of jaws to avoid
problems it can cause by
installing over the older version. <smile>
Sincerely,
Terrill Reynolds

Subject: [JAWS-Users] unknown function call

Hello listers,

Today I installed the newest jaws 8 update, and now I have a problem.
When I
use say all command, I hear "unknown function call ismagicrunning". I
hear
the same thing when I open an e-mail in OE. Do you have ideas what to do

cause it's very annoying. I tryed to find this function in the magic.jss

file to disable it since I don't use this program, but couldn't find it.

Also tryed to remove the related scripts from the shared settings folder
but
jaws complains so I restored them. When I Installed the new version I
was
asked if I should leave or remove the detected user settings, so I
leaved
them as they wer. Could this be the reason for the problem?
