Bill, While on your first page of your document, do an alt v for view, then the letter h for headers and footers. Next do an alt O for format and then enter on font and tab to your point size and make the selection. Next do an alt I for insert and arrow down to page numbers. Select how you want your numbers to appear, left, right or centered. Tab to OK and press enter. Now do another alt v for view and then the letter h for headers and footers. This will close the view for headers and footers. HTH Denny
