I think Those prefix numbers and letters sound like typos or nonces. I think I'd start over, editing out questionable characters or deleting and re-doing entries as necessary. However, I don't have Access32.

The DECTalk Access 32 Speech Engine is not loaded into memory, and the Freedom Scientific product can not access it when it attempts to use the synthesizer. Solution: The DECTalk Access 32 speech synthesizer must be loaded into memory before starting the Freedom Scientific product with which you want to use it. An application shortcut for the DECTalk Access 32 speech synthesizer can be placed in the Startup submenu of the Start Menu. The following steps are applicable for all Microsoft Operating Systems though if you are on Win NT 4, Win 2000, or XP Pro, you will need to be logged in as admin to be able to modify the start menu. I don't have start JAWS automatically checked. Should I delete the "_1Load DECtalk Access32" before trying the instructions in the TSN or is there some way of editing it? Does the "zJAWS" belong in there? Any help would be greatly appreciated since it seems that the "not authorized" thing is getting worse with each version of JAWS since 3.3 and I wish I had even a nickel for every time I've heard that darned message.
