Hi Patti, The include icon for Spybot should contain the detection updates for Spybot. You must update Spybot at least once a week to get the latest detection for new spywares.
Usually you can update the detection rules with the check for update button or go to Spybot home page and hit download and include the latest updates manually. Somehow, you must have downloaded the updates and save them on the desktop instead of installing them. I believe that what is in your desttop icon. If anyone else can comment on this, please do so. One more thing, you mentioned that there are 32 files,. Does these files have names that look like to be detection updates?
