Hi All, I know there are several JAWS users who are HTML experts and was hoping someone could give me some insight into HTML.
At work they have been designing these Intranet pages with "this page link". It is suppose to jump the user to a certain place on the same web page. JAWS works properly with some of the links and some of them it does not. When the link is clicked, the web page scrolls the text that the link relates to up to the top of the screen. JAWS will start reading the correct text on some of the links and on others it does not. Do these same page links not work well with JAWS? I know many Internet pages have the "this page link skip to content" and I have never had those not work correctly. Is there some special sort of HTML mark up that needs to be used for these same page links to work with JAWS? I have been having issues with these new Intranet pages they have been designing, so any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I do not know nearly enough about HTML, but it looks like it is something I am going to need to learn. Okay, I hope this made some sense.
