Yes, as long as you have it set to load at startup.

So does this thing stay in the system tray all of the time?

I was able to use the program with the following versions of Jaws: 6.2, 7.0,
and 8.0.
The program uses a standard installer which is no problem to naviggate.
The main window has to be navigated with the Jaws cursor.
The program can be accessed from the system tray,
and has the following items in the context menu:
Show main window
Run online update
Scan memory
Resident Shield
Automatic Updates
Start with Windows
Language
Information
Exit
I had no problem accessing any of these items.
In some of these windows, it's only a matter of performing a left mouse
click with the Jaws cursor,
on words like scheduler, update, or settings.
In some of the windows, clicking on an item, will open a dialogue from which
you can move thru
selections useing the tab key.
All of the necessary features can be accessed from the context menu much
easier than from the
program's main window.
I wouldn't write the program off, on the basis of having to use the Jaws
cursor.
The scan I performed, was quick, and the results easy to read.
It didn't find any problems, so I can't advise on how to proceed with that.
However, from what I saw, it looked like to me, that it would not be hard to
figure out.
I'm not going to write complete instructions, since there doesn't appear to
be standard controls,
and how each individual machine, may cause Jaws
to respond differently.
