If you are saying Adobe 8 doesn't work with JAWS, I have not found that to be true. I'm using Adobe 8 and have been reading pdf documents without a problem. It's a little difficult to sort out on the website to download Adobe 8. But once you have in downloaded and go through the installation it will offer you options to check that make it work with screen readers. In fact, when I installed it, Adobe recognized that I was using a screen reader. Each time I open a document in Adobe it goes through a process of preparing the document for reading. Blessings, Tom
