I've used AVG for several years now. I keep hearing about these reports of
false positives and not catching other ones and would like to say that this
is nothing but rumors. The program has done extremely well here and has
caught legitimate viruses that others have missed. I can't say how Nod 32
compairs to AVG as I've not used it. I however feel that the unconfirmed
problems with AVG aren't being fair to it's true capabilities. Remember no
virus program is perfect and no virus program never makes a mistake. Just
commenting on the post since I've used AVG here for many years now and know
very well how good it works.

Nod32 will work with JAWS8, whether you tweak it or not; and the tweaks are
very minor - a matter of making the interface more accessible. I used AVG
briefly, before trying out Nod32, and I prefer Nod32 and have subscribed to
it. You can, in fact, 'set it and forget it'. It updates itself
frequently, sometimes three or four times a day. It also leaves a very
small footprint behind, taking up minimal computer resources. Which one one
likes may be largely subjective; but I've heard of AVG giving 'false
positives' and also not catching real positives. (I haven't heard that
about Nod32.)

John, they'll both work with JAWS 8, however Nod32 needs to have some
tweaking done before it will fully work, unlike AVG. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone can anyone tell me what's more jaws friendly, and what is easier
and works best
Nod32 or the latest version of AVG.

please let me know I've got a friend that has sold me Nod32 and I've got AVG
on the computer which one works better with Jaws 8.
