That's the problem here. The only program I have left is go back and I like 
it. That's why I have no personal experience.

Hi David,
     I truly do not know if the version from the group website requires
verification. I used the one from Symantec. I am pretty well happy with how
I have my Norton's for the moment. So, I would rather not run the removal
tool.
