I'd just like to point out that today marks 1 year since Debbie Scales went to
her reward and said good by to all of us. I originally had considered turning
the list off for several hours much like I did last year but I've decided
against that this time around. The reason is although I'm sure she would like
us all to remember her in a good way it occurs to me the best way we could do
that is to continue doing what she did helping each other out by working
together to solve our respective problems in a peaceful and productive manner.
So if you are of a mind to do so just give a thought to the lady who was such a
major contributor to the blindness community for many years and her family that
they may carry on in spite of her absence. No need to reply to this message, I
just wanted to climb up on my soap box here for a minute. I imagine if she were
still running her list this group might not even exist as there would be no
need for it. Thanks for indulging my ramblings for a moment, now let's get back
down to business.
