I couldn't tell what exactly was making my computer crash so frequently and I'm not good at reading the event viewer to know the specifics. So a sighted friend remote-connected and the viewer says that every crash I've had--and there have been many of late--was a Jaws 8-related crash. I personally am thinking it has a lot to do with this sound card that was installed and that has been giving me grief, but my friend says the errors aren't sound card-driver related. But I often get a freeze when either using Jaws when opening or closing Winamp--I mean it could be the combo of the 2 or just anything causing this freeze-up. Has this happened to anyone and is there a way to fix it? I don't know if this will help but here's what the screen says when event viewer was brought up:
Faulting application jfw.exe, version 8.0.2173.2, faulting module jfw.exe, version 8.0.2173.2, fault address 0x00129b3f. Hope someone has some ideas.
