No, that won't work.  Your Braille display needs the Jaws drivers to load
first.
The problem you are facing is that it takes longer for the bluetooth device
to pair up and Jaws can't find it when it loads.
I doubt that there is a solution other than what you are already doing,
which is to start Jaws and then start your bluetooth device.
Hopefully someone else will have an answer for you.

Well the thing is my laptop is password protected. I could turn this off,
maybe I should do that. However, even if I have JAWS in the startup group, I
still can't get Braille to come on at the same time. In fact, I'm not even
sure if I could load Braille Terminal first before loading JAWS; could I try
that?
